The field of STEM is a highly volatile one, and entering the industry almost always depends on whether students have relevant hands-on experience such as internships, usually obtained through referrals and professional connections. As such, mentorship is an extremely important tool for students in the STEM community who want guidance in finding opportunities and building confidence in their skills.
In this project, it was my goal to design an application aimed at encouraging meaningful mentor/mentee relationships within the STEM community.
