I'm currently completing my fourth and final year at the University of California, San Diego. A few things I love are cats, K-beauty, video games, and American politics. My friends describe me as an independent thinker. I have always excelled in my studies, and I consider my strong work ethic one of my greatest strengths. My MBTI is INTJ.
My Strengths*
Active Learning - I pursue continous learning and improvement with a growth mindset. I tend to be energized by learning and incorporating new information. I set difficult goals for myself, viewing the work needed to attain them as a rewarding learning experience.
Customer Focus - I tend to focus on meeting the needs of customers, operating on a service oriented mindset. I place high priority on completing tasks in line with customer expectations, and adopt a methodical and organized approach to ensure the quality of work output is of a high standard.
Collaboration and Teamwork - I am comfortable creating and maintaining working relationships across organizational boundaries. I recognize the connection between people and goals and leverage my professional networks in a mutually beneficial way.
Innovation and Creativity - I question conventional approaches when learning new tasks or when new information is presented, and often generate new ideas for solving day-to-day issues. I enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems and making important decisions using creativity and logic rather than relying on established processes.

As an HCI major, my area of focus is on the design and optimization of a system's interface. I champion the user's needs above all and implement relevant UX processes to construct intuitive, user-informed designs.
My understanding of the cognitive basis behind successful web and multimedia design allows me to evaluate and correct the structure, navigation, layout, and user flow of a system to improve its usability.
My experience with rapid prototyping and building interactive mockups is an essential component of the UX design process and is vital for testing user flow and generating valuable feedback.
My background in usability testing, crafting personas, storyboarding, and conducting interviews/surveys plays an integral role in developing empathy with an intended user base.
My familiarity with color theory, logo design, typography, and visual hierarchy make me a versatile UI/UX Designer with an eye for visual appeal.
Human Computer Interaction is a multidisciplinary field and as such, demanding of a flexible skillset. Consequently, I have amassed a toolkit of expertise from various disciplines such as computer science, data science, psychology, and visual arts, certifying me as a well-rounded UI/UX Designer and Front End Developer.
I have always been a stand-out student. Set to graduate "magna cum laude" with a B.S in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Human Computer Interaction in June 2022, I've also gained some industry experience throughout my journey in undergrad.
September 2021 - December 2021
As a member of the UI/UX Team at ONC, I collaborated on a site redesign for their organization. I performed Competitive Analyses, presented design solutions to stakeholders, and developed multiple prototypes using Figma.
Feb 2018 - June 2018
I worked closely with the engineering team to assess and optimize hardware and software interfaces. I also attended business meetings with clients, compiled scripts for engineers, and wrote code for simple features in Python.
Sep 2018 - Present
